We are looking for a new colleague. We are looking for a Vibration Analyst during a maternity leave for 12 months starting September 2016. Alfa Laval is today a world leader within the key technology areas of heat transfer, separation and fluid handling. Service business is a major growth driver for Alfa Laval and in the focus of customer expectations. Within Service we are continuously working on development of new products and services as well as improvements of already existing ones.

About the job
Responsibilities:As a vibration analyst your main tasks will be to analyze and report condition of High Speed Separators and Decanters based on vibration. Also be part of the demand specification to improve our existing systems for remote monitoring as well as automatize today’s processes. This means responsibility for condition monitoring of machine analysis around the world, system functionality, sales and service support as well as participating in developing support tools.
You will work in close co-operation with the Sales Companies and central departments to bring Service products to our customers. You will have frequent contact with our sales companies regarding technical sales support and product training
Qualifications:We are looking for a candidate with a university degree in engineering; preferably Mechanical Engineering specialized in sound and vibration. It is an advantage if you have monitoring or process or service experience from similar assignments.
You have to be able to work independently and be service minded. You find it easy to network and have a commercial drive. You are an excellent communicator and your English is fluent.
Practicalities:This is a temporary position and you will be based at PPS Service in Tumba.
