Arbetsbeskrivning
Within Sandvik Group, we’re passionate about development and advanced technology, and we always aim to offer the best possible experience for our customers. Right now, we’re taking an exciting step in transforming our market-leading business even further within the area of stone crushers and screening equipment for the mining and construction industries. We do this by founding an independent, growth-oriented and customer-centric Business Area by the name of Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions. A place of inclusive collaboration, agility and innovation - where we nurture an ever-growing portfolio of products and solutions based on the needs of the market, and where pioneering software technology meets the core of manufacturing.
For Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions, we’re seeking a talented Vice President and Head of Marketing & Communications - a role that calls for a strategic and innovative thinker, with a strong ethical compass and a passion for business. We offer a unique opportunity to join us on this exciting transformation journey, where you get to impact our direction and drive favorable recognition and awareness for our mission, vision, values and solutions. Are you eager to shape the future of manufacturing and impress the world of engineering? Then we really want you on board!
Let’s talk about your mission
This is a truly diverse position, where you contribute in developing our business strategy by ensuring clear and inspirational internal communication, as well as creating external awareness and a strong reputation of our brand and solutions. To meet the challenge of balancing a yearly communication plan with timely and accurate communication actions in urgent matters, you constantly stay tuned with the organization’s needs and demands. This includes working with the whole communication spectra - from content creation, channel management, employee and community engagement, change and crisis communication, management support and communication training. You’re also responsible for planning and preparing marketing content and communication campaigns for distribution, which includes being the main point of contact for press and external media. To ensure that we always make the most of our messages and investments, you gather, analyze and interpret both your own insights and the world around you.
As we’re forming a new Business Area, you have an important role in building a cohesive, supportive and competent marketing and communication function – where team spirit, development and best practices are cornerstones, and where we merge stakeholder expectations with hands-on communication activities. To help you succeed with your internal communication responsibilities, you will start by adding an Internal Communication Professional to your team. On top of this, you’re a valued member of our management team, and you report directly to the President of Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions.
This position is based in the Svedala/Malmö area, although Stockholm or other locations could be discussed, and some travel is normally included in your job.
And what about you?
We’re looking for someone with an academic background within communication and – more importantly – broad experience from working within this field. You have a successful history of planning and leading communication projects and events, and profound knowledge of communication connected to employees, management, strategy, branding and change. You know how to create both visual and written content, and you also love to explore new opportunities and trends within digital media. In addition to being a communication professional, you’re an inspirational and brave leader who actively engage in developing the people around you. We operate worldwide, and this calls for an open mind and cultural awareness – you’re used to working cross both functions and borders and you need excellent communication skills in English.
You have thoughtful judgement and are very curious. You explore and ask questions to gain a wider comprehension for the complexity and technical details of our operations, and then you turn it into communication which is easy to grasp. Connecting with stakeholders and supporting the organization with what to say and when to say it, is one of your strong suits. You also build collaborative environments, move things forward and bring everyone on board.
