Job Summary
You’re a key player in our communication planning, execution and in ensuring that the communication supports our business strategy, purpose, and core values. Creating brand pride and commitment is always on your agenda and by building yourself a good understanding of our current business situation you prioritize to reach our set goals. In this managerial role you’re an essential part of the team to improve employee engagement throughout our organization – supporting our executive management in key projects and developing our corporate messaging platforms, both internal and external. A key part of the success is to work together with other communication and brand experts across our decentralized organization. You’re an active member of Dormer Pramet Management team and work continuously to develop our organization, collaborations, and ways of working – ensuring operational excellence, a fair brand perception and an engaging communication.
You lead a team of experienced and specialized communication and brand professionals, by creating a nurturing environment and setting the direction with a clear strategy for short and long-term objectives. Together you ensure appropriate brand governance and develop our brand position – managing the full view of the Dormer Pramet brand globally, focusing on an efficient brand portfolio. You develop the digital platforms for communication including the whole spectra, from editorial functions, channel management, brand governance, change- and crisis communication, management support and communication training. You’re our go to person in brand strategy matters, and with modern ways of working you make sure that our portfolio reaches its broad target groups.
You report to the President of Dormer Pramet. The location for this position is flexible globally and global travel is a natural part of your job.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone with an academic background within communication, marketing or other relevant, and, more importantly, an extensive working career within this field, which has given you high confidence in your role. You have a successful history of coaching people in an international setting, as well as of working with management teams. You also have solid experience from leading communication projects and events, and a profound knowledge of communication planning, strategy, branding and change communication. As we act globally, you need excellent English skills.
Your personality truly makes the difference! You easily build trust and utilize your networking skills to establish excellent stakeholder management – showing great business acumen. We value your curiosity and humble attitude asking questions to gain a wider comprehension for the complexity and technical details of our operations, to break it down into adequate communication actions. With a strategic and holistic view, you respond timely on business requirements and act on both urgent, short- and long-term objectives. As a manager you’re comfortable with your leadership abilities, have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and outside partners at all levels.
