Vice President Complete Vehicle Business Control

In the Controlling & Product Finance function at Volvo Group Trucks Technology (GTT) we ensure successful product cost management, cost engineering and financial management of Group and Group Trucks R&D investments. We drive our contribution to optimize performance and support transformation, while pursuing process improvements and continuous learning within our global function.
Complete Vehicle Business Control manages the financial processes and tasks for the Complete Vehicle function and associated investments. Complete Vehicle work with early and late phases of R&D development, from product design to final testing, and has a broad asset portfolio of workshops, test facilities and test fleets globally. Business Control is a vital function to support and drive an effective and cost-efficient operations.


Mission
As Vice President Complete Vehicle Business Control, you report to the SVP Controlling. In this job you are responsible for Business control which includes a broad number of activities, such as target setting, follow-up, decision support and efficiency projects.
You will be the leader for a global highly proficient team, where you are line manager for the colleagues located in Gothenburg. You will be part of and work closely with the Complete Vehicle management team and pro-actively support and ensure good controlling of the function and the investments. You inspire and lead the team and collaborate seamlessly with other functions to continuously develop ways of working and the value contribution.
We want you to optimize the value of full Controlling & Product Finance contribution to the Complete Vehicle function and be proactive in driving financial performance and managing risks – of course with securing compliance with GTT and Volvo Group Financial policies.
You will also have the financial management of the ‘Aftermarket Technology’ portfolio and associated activities.

Critical Competencies for the position
• Hold a university degree and/or MBA
• At least 5 years of experience in leading global controlling position
• Proven leadership experience
• Strong skills in communication, collaboration, continuous improvements and building teams
• Good understanding of our Industry preferred
