Job description
In this position you will have a vital role in managing consolidation, have a high precision in our forecasting. You will follow up of the Global Bus Technology (GBT) cost and capital as well as consolidation of BA Buses RnD expenses. You will also support GBT management team and organization with decision material, risk management and financial support. However, your absolute most important assignment within the role is to continue to develop a high performing team where people take pride in being responsible for their complete deliveries.
You will be located in Gothenburg, Sweden and will from time-to-time travel to our sites around the globe. Your manager will be our SVP for Global Bus Technology (GBT) and you will be part of the Volvo Bus Finance community network and councils as well. You will lead and develop a team of six controllers and the GBT business controller network.
Main activities and responsibilities:
As member of GBT management team you are part of developing GBT as a whole
Lead and develop the GBT business control team
Manage, forecast, and follow up R&D (Research & Development) Expenses including workshop and vehicle investments
Project controlling including project cost, product cost and project profitability
Manage the global SCS (Standard Cost of Sales) and reference vehicle process and method for product cost follow-up
Plan and consolidate warranty variances incl external audits
To be successful in your new role we believe you have the following knowledge/experience:
Good at building relations and engaging diverse teams
Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach is essential
Business insight to contribute to decision making
University degree in Finance or equivalent
Eager to learn something new every day
+5 year’s controller and accounting experience
Hands on experience of profitability analysis
Passion for continuous improvements in small steps
