Vice President Design Operations

CEVT is an innovation centre for the future cars of the Geely Group with the purpose of being at the forefront of new developments in the automotive industry. Since 2013 CEVT has grown rapidly and now keeps some 2000 people busy. China Euro Vehicle Technology AB is a subsidiary of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group.

As VP Design Operations you will have the overall responsibility for Design Operations at Geely Design Sweden. This includes the areas of Programme Management, Physical Modelling, Digital Modelling and Design Vizualisation, Studio Engineering, Design Quality and Business Support Office.
You will make sure that Geely Design has the prerequisites to run all assigned projects in a professional and quality assured way and, will be planning in an strategic manner for the technical development and improvements for methods and tools.
As VP Design Operations you will be leading and developing a team of 6 directors and have a good overview and understanding of the needs in all ongoing design projects as well as defining operational needs and predicting the required needs for the future.
VP Design Operations reports to SVP Geely Design Sweden.
 Main focus in your role
* Developing and leading the Design Operations team.
* Setting operational strategies and identifying and executing efficiency and effectiveness improvements across Geely Design Sweden.
* Ensuring a good interaction with China and other Geely studios.
* Participating in Global Management team, chairing Design Management meeting and Operations Management meeting.

Qualifications 
* An extensive understanding and a practical knowledge of processes and tools within automotive product design.
* An ability to manage and analyse financial data, forecast, budget etc.
* The relevant education and training to cover statutory health and safety requirements.
* Knowledge of planning and execution of high level operational development strategies.
