Vice President Electromechanics Purchasing

Arbetsbeskrivning

We are on a super exciting journey to be ready for our Volvo Group long-term targets to be 100% fossil free, 100% safe and 100% more productive. To get there we see a big need of accelerating platform systems and technology transformation. In order to get there, we are looking for a person for the newly created role as Vice President of Electromechanics. Do you share our passion to lead and grow teams as well as making the world a better, cleaner place? Great, then you may be the person we are looking for!

Even though we operate in a business-to-business environment, it is the people who make the difference. It is important that you are a trusted leader and that you radiate passion when developing your team and your business. The position is a role where you will be leading the strategic scope of Electromechanics globally and have the operational responsibility in Europe. We hope you love to actively contribute to your team members' development, both professionally and personally as well as building strong teams with great team spirit. You will be part of the management team of Electronics, Electromechanics and Autonomous (EEA) in which you will have an important contribution to strategies and team development.

The increased technology complexity coming with the need of redundancy and electrification of our products calls for an increased focus on this segment in the years to come. This will require that you are extremely well connected with your x-functional stakeholders, with an ability to see the end-to-end perspective at company level. You will also have to mature our business practices and bring Electromechanics to the next level.

Talking about being good at building relationships, in addition to the relationship with the teams, it is essential to be able to build and maintain trustful and healthy supply partner relationships. With well-functioning interactions we believe that we easier support our business and develop sustainable long-term relationships with our supply chain partners. We believe that someone that loves to work as a leader in a multicultural context with a high pace and that enjoys cooperating with various functions will also love and excel at this job.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholder to drive business results

The ticket to ride
