In this new reality, Volvo Group needs to adapt to become masters in producing digital offerings that are profitable, scalable, and differentiated. To adapt to the fast-paced world around us, we need to be much faster to market, working closer to our customers and possess the ability to quickly scale up our digital offerings to maximize our value proposition to our customers.
Digital & IT will enable and facilitate this change with the clear ambition to become the digital capability of the Volvo Group and enable value creation at scale.

The Strategy, Communication & Digital Transformation function is instrumental in creating meaningful, relatable, and actionable connections to our transformation, by developing and orchestrating the Digital & IT strategic direction, the digital transformation, and the change journey ahead of us.
The function works closely with other parts of the organization, both in Digital & IT and in Truck Divisions, Business Areas and Group Functions (TDBAGFs), as well as external parties.

This is how you could make an impact
As the Head for Digital & IT Communication, you will be key in our digital transformation and lead the communication team. In this position you will be responsible for the communication platform to drive the engagement of the Digital & IT community to the strategic direction and support its execution. You will be instrumental in driving the cultural and knowledge shift of the whole Volvo Group in becoming a digital-first company. You will also be a key contributor to the overall transformational narrative of the Volvo Group towards several external stakeholders.
You will be part of the Strategy, Communication & Digital Transformation management team and report to the SVP, Head of Strategy, Communication & Digital Transformation. These will be some selected responsibilities:
Be instrumental in clarifying our transformational journey by creating a meaningful, relatable and actionable narrative
Contribute to the works on the engagement of the organization, in tight cooperation with the Digital Transformation Office, as well as HR
Lead the communication to support the change journey of the Digital & IT community, along with the digital literacy shift of the whole Volvo Group, in tight cooperation with TDBAGFs’ respective communications functions
Lead the communication towards partners and other key stakeholders in relevant ecosystems
Partner with Volvo Group Communication to support Volvo Group positioning as a digital industrial leader
Who are you?
We believe you are ready to be a key player in the Volvo Group digital transformation, while working with amazing people around the world. You have a university degree or equivalent and several years of experience from leading leaders’ positions. You are a well-balanced communication leader with deep business acumen and a broad knowledge in digital marketing and communication. You are skilled in building communities across several organizations and understand how to navigate complex environments. We also see that you have a passion for driving change, developing organizations and love seeing people grow. In addition, you have experience in building and motivating world class, high performing teams.
