Arbetsbeskrivning
Nasdaq is making strategic investments in the area of architecture. As the VP of Enterprise Architecture of Engineering you are now able to step in and make a difference as the visionary, tactical advisor, and technical strategist in this space. You´ll ensure a cohesive architecture for 3 larger domains and several product groups in their continued journey of platform- as well as service offerings.
Rewrite the future with Nasdaq.
You will
As a technical leader within architecture you´ll be the spokesperson in the field within engineering, and you´ll drive the agenda of how a unified architectural standpoint, as well as framework, can assure the building of optimal products; now and in the future.
You´ll set the vision, and the technical roadmap for the architecture that is spanning several domains and cloud initiatives. The architectural strategy is in your hands and you´ll understand the way forward through connecting with different product teams, i.e. assessing how they work, what´s been done, and understanding the every-day challenges. This mapping will be crucial in your goalsetting; which in turn will involve future technical preferences, market perspectives, customer needs, and technical debt.
Principal architects in respective areas, currently risk, trading, and clearing, will aid you in the ongoing strategy executions through their in-depth know-how of specific realms.
In your role as VP, you´ll be part of the global management group, and you´ll be working closely with the EA group on the conglomerate level.
You are
In previous roles you´ve acted within a larger mandate, taking on architectural challenges of various sorts, connected to transformations, build-ups/scale-ups, or the likes. You understand the position being closely knit to leadership, vision, and strategies to ensure continuous firm value on a long-term basis.
You have experience of technical development within software products – it is vital that you understand the context where good software is built. You are used to working with different stakeholders and you know how to package products. You might have done incremental changes or taken leaps and bounds – the importance being that you have made architectural decisions that you have had to live with, and those decisions has not acted as deterrents but rather enablers onwards. You have a zest for new technologies and in what way they can be additives to already complex environments, e.g. increasing flexibility and simplicity.
