Volvo Penta is looking for a strategic business partner to drive the People & Culture agenda within the Planning, Purchasing and Product & Solutions Development [PPP].
The ideal candidate is a team player with a can-do attitude, who is not afraid to question and is willing to learn and contribute to the transformation journey of the PPP function.
In the role, you will report to the SVP Human Resources, as part of the Volvo Penta People & Culture Team; and you will have a dotted line to the CTO & SVP PPP, having an active role within the PPP Management Team.
Key responsibilities:
Work close to the business while supporting the company transformation agenda
Strengthen PPP functions leadership capabilities & talent pipeline
Strategic coaching & contribution to developing staff & managers
Create and drive HR-plans and HR-activities to support business goals that are aligned with Volvo Penta strategy and PPP strategy
Drive the competence shift towards the future needs
Contribute to the overall development of the PPP function
Educational qualifications and experience:
University Degree in related field
Minimum 10 year’s successful experience in a similar role, it is a benefit if you have experience from technology driven organization
Experience and knowledge working with change management
Critical Competencies:
A willingness to collaborate with cross-functional view and growth mindset
High standard of professionalism and integrity
Able to take ownership quickly and reliably as People & Culture specialist
Good facilitator skills
Demonstrated ability to solve problems
Hands-on approach, capable of quickly switching between strategic thinking and operational work
Analytical and interested in using data for insights
Strong capacity to build networks in a multicultural, global environment and to influence others to make things happen
