Vice President Human Resources

The Vice President Human Resources is responsible for developing and implementing HR processes that support the business, throughout the segment globally.You will work closely with an experienced HR network internally in Sandvik. Key performance areas This position is part of the Management Team and in that role has responsibility for developing the segment further.As well as these responsibilities the role manages the following areas: .Support and safeguard the organization's managers in the process of involving employees in the organization's vision, strategy, objectives and values to ensure that all employees understand their contribution to the overall business objectives..Play an active role in implementing the changes required by the segment's strategy.. Coordinate the segment's recruitment & redundancy management.. Manage succession planning, identification of key areas of competence and ensuring any deficiencies are corrected.. Oversee & coordinate performance management throughout the segment.. Keep track of the development, implementation, and execution of the segment's competence development offering.. Adhere to the policies, procedures and tools delivered by the global Sandvik processes in order to maintain a consistent global approach to Human Resources..Ensure that managers are trained in how to use the tools provided and ensure that the managers accept and use them in a qualitative way.. Ensuring a fair and timely remuneration process that stimulates professional development. Your profile The qualified candidate needs to be experienced within the broad Human Resources arena.A relevant Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years relevant work experience being required, preferably from strategic HR work in leading positions.Your have well developed communication skills and a solid understanding and enjoyment of working with people from different backgrounds.Your view of HR is that it is a critical support function helping deliver the business objectives.Being a new organization you will have to handle a vide variety of tasks, where change is the most important one.You enjoy working in a diversified team and global travel is not a problem for you.It is a prerequisite that you are fluent in English, both written and verbal.This position reports to the President of the Exploration Segment.The position is located in Sandviken, Sweden.
