We are now looking for a strong and innovative Marketing Manager who will take ownership for growing Perstorp’s brand and presence within our Business Area Specialties.
From design to execution, the successful candidate will be responsible for the design, delivery and implementation of a Marketing strategy that will support business growth and enhance and develop Perstorp’s product offerings to both new and existing customers.
You will need to take the lead and be responsible for all aspects of marketing including setting and managing the budget and ensuring that the strategy supports the overall business agenda.
This role will report directly to the EVP for Business Area Specialties.
The main areas of responsibility are:


Developing, managing, coordinating and executing the go-to market strategies for BA Specialties. This will include working with different marketing channels, product positioning and developing a unique value proposition.
Increasing and strengthening the Perstorp brand and those of our products.
Leading a small team consisting of:

 Market Development Managers responsible for establishing and growing the market for new products, as well as assuming the Product manager responsibility for certain such products during a growth phase.
Market analyst.

Developing and communicating, internally and externally, product positioning and value propositions.
Providing market intelligence information to the Business Units within the Business Area.
Breaking down the overall strategy into marketing plans – this will include specific action plans for each Business Unit and the Business Area as a whole.
Targeting marketing opportunities through the use of various channels.

You will already be an experienced Senior Marketing Manager or a Marketing Director and will possess either a Master’s degree /MBA or equivalent in a related discipline. You must have experience from within either an industrial manufacturing or process industry and ideally experience from the chemical industry. Furthermore, you will be a confident leader and will be able to demonstrate significant ability to turn your own creative and conceptual thinking into real actions and results.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong communications skills, and be fluent orally and in writing in English. The role will be based principally in Malmö but you will be required to travel both within Sweden and Internationally from time to time. Therefore an International experience is highly desirable.
