The Volvo Penta team is now looking for a Vice President Marketing Industrial who will develop and deliver class- leading marketing strategies and operations to the industrial audience. And, at the same time, lead the overall industrial business unit in the transformation into digital marketing and sales.
The ideal candidate is an innovative team-player and a driven marketing professional who is passionate about working with modern marketing ideas and tools to position Volvo Penta as the number one choice for all our different industrial customer groups, today and also for the future.


In the role you will report to the Senior Vice President of Brand, Marketing and Communication, and be a core member of the Volvo Penta Industrial Management Team.

Key responsibilities
Own the development of marketing and communication strategies within the Volvo Penta industrial business unit
Together with the industrial community and brand, communication and marketing team drive the execution of aligned industrial marketing related activities
Build a strong network with stakeholders to drive efficient and effective marketing and communication activation
Leading the transformation of the marketing and communication part of the Volvo Penta industrial business
Contribute to the overall improvement and objectives of the industrial business
Overall responsibility for the Volvo Penta industrial business unit marketing budget

Educational Qualifications and experience
Master’ Degree in related field
Minimum 5-10 year’s successful experience in a similar role
Experience from on-line B2B marketing transformation is meriting

Critical Competencies
Self-starter with pioneering spirit; able to take ownership quickly and reliably
Proven experience of change management
Hands-on approach, capable of quickly switching between strategic thinking and operational work
Courage to dare new things to excel previous results
Excellent people and teamwork skills. Strong capacity to build networks in a multicultural, global environment and to influence others to make things happen
