Vice President of Finance - Rock Tools

Let’s talk about your mission
Joining us in this instrumental position within Rock Tools, you work closely with our President and the management team, as you support and advise the business in strategic matters to enable successful decision making. To drive continuous improvements, you take lead in both planning and execution, and you challenge us in setting targets and in prioritizing what initiatives we need to make to stay on top of the game - such as M&As, portfolio management, cost base optimization and sales opportunities. You also look at financial trends and possible impacts to the business, and by turning stones, analyzing data and making numbers talk, you proactively communicate and lead the way in necessary actions.


Acting in a global business environment with diverse cultural and economic challenges, you’re the number one promoter of excellent collaborations. For us, this means working closely with our controllers and other members of our finance organization to enable true understanding and accuracy in figures, details and plans. And, not to forget the important fact that you’re a brave and inspiring leader for our finance team. By connecting people, processes and financial insights, you make sure we’re a business partner to rely on!


As Vice President of Finance, you’re also an active member of our Rock Tools management team and you report directly to the President of the division. The location for this position is either Västberga or Sandviken, Sweden, and international travel is included in your job.


And what about you?
We’re looking for an experienced finance leader who truly understands global business, and who’s well known to be a great influencer for both people and ways of working. Your career includes similar strategic positions within a progressive business or finance setting, and you have previously managed teams in a corporate environment. You effortlessly collaborate with different stakeholders in large, international and decentralized organizations, and you speak an easy language that brings everyone on board. A relevant finance or business degree is necessary to be successful in this role, and you must also communicate fluently in English, both in speaking and writing.
