The Vice President of People and Culture is a key strategic business- and People and Culture partner to Electromobility management, People and Culture professionals, and general managers across Electromobility and the Volvo Group Truck Technology organization. You will be responsible for developing and aligning People and Culture strategies and activities that support Volvo Group Truck Technology's journey towards an organization of world-leading innovation. You will be comfortable building and leading a team, as well as collaborating with People and Culture leaders across the branch and Volvo Group Truck Technology, senior leadership, and local stakeholders.
The Vice President of People and Culture will be responsible for securing a pipeline of talented employees with exceptional technical skills and fostering a collaborative and innovative culture, to enable the development of novel techniques and products. Further, you will play a critical role in supporting transformation and growth objectives by aligning People and Culture programs with the key business drivers. You will support the delivery of fit-for-purpose programs across the People and Culture-umbrella such as talent management and development, talent acquisition, performance management, organizational change and culture, compensation and benefits, and industrial & employee relations - always with innovation and development at heart.

Your mission on this job
With your strong business acumen and understanding of Human Resources as one key driver contributing to overall business success you will be the driving force to encourage the transformation and overall strategic agenda for Electromobility. You will serve as trusted advisor to the Electromobility management team, working holistically and visionary within the international organization. You will assume the responsibility of a proactive, accurate and timely partner working with local and global stakeholders on developing the organization, leadership, and people & culture during a period of growth and transformation.

Ability to adapt their own influencing approach to individuals, anticipating impact of words and actions.
Be an engaged, action-oriented change agent and a strong team player with an empowering mindset, who is passionate about enabling business success, while simultaneously improving the people and culture function’s effectiveness.
Strong change management skills, coupled with solid skills in all aspects of HR, are key.
Comfortable working at all levels in an organization.
Gravitas is important as this leader will be in a role which requires direction and influence with confidence.
What to bring:
Executive management experience with a passion for transformation, people development and team growth.
Human Resources leadership experience from a large global organization preferably within the industrial sector.
Ability to identify and bring attention to needed changes.
Exudes the attitude, posture, and pace to work effectively with determination and speed.
Strong personal credibility, integrity, and creativity.
Bachelor’s degree or MBA in Human Resources.
