Main responsibilities
- Build up and head the Scrive Telecom Industry team, with profit and loss responsibility for the business unit.
- Act as direct reporting manager for all team members, with operational assistance from the unit's three team leaders.
- Be the internal spokesperson for the telecom unit, in close collaboration with Legal, Marketing, Solution Engineering, and other parts of Scrive.
- Coach, educate, inspire and support the complete telecom team with industry insights, and sales and success strategies

Based on current success in selling to three specific industries, we are now implementing new business units to grow this footprint on more markets. We now need VP of Sales & Success to build and run our Scrive for Telecom team.
Being the industry leader in the Nordics, we aim to be the European champion for e-signing, eIDs, and workflow automation within telecom (operators, resellers, contact centers) by the end of 2024.
The team of Sales, Success and SDRs will cover Enterprise to mid-size prospects and clients. Just ramping up, we aim to be around 15 people by autumn 2022.
As VP for Telecom, you report to the Chief Revenue Officer and your team is part of our Revenue organization. Going to market is a joint effort with Marketing and we will invest heavily in account-based sales and marketing strategies. .
Our VP Telco plays a vital role in building up a new team where many will be hired externally, in collaboration with our People & Performance team.
Your significant telecom and sales experience will be used to train your team, and our marketeers to create spot on-messaging for our target audience.
The role combines strategy with hands-on sales leadership. You run tactical sessions, just as well as you hold key notes, or assists in specific sales processes.
We get that you won’t know everything about our industry, but with your sales acumen and telco understanding, you will quickly learn our products and offers.
Main tasks
- Owning Profit and Loss for the Telecom Industry team
- Serve as direct reporting manager for all team members; and support your team leaders and commercial reps with the daily operations.
- Building a sales and marketing strategy with Marketing, providing them with insights and ordering services from them.
- In general be the internal telecom thought leader, educating the team in how the industry works, giving them all a competitive edge.
- Participate in recurring sessions with Product, Legal and Solution Engineering, to secure a continuous feedback loop
- Represent Scrive as a speaker on industry events and conferences,
- Together with your team leaders, coach, support and inspire the team to meet individual sales targets and enable them to perform even better.
- Be a member of the Revenue Management team, contributing by sharing insight, learning from peers and driving the company forward.
- Serve as a requester from, working closely with, our Sales Ops team, to secure you receive all reporting needed to fulfill your assignment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience from within the telecom industry
- At least 5 years of experience from working with B2B Sales
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a managerial role
- Preferably 2 years+ of experience within SaaS Sales (not a dealbreaker)
- An academical background, bachelor degree or higher, is a big plus
- Are fluent in English, both verbal and written
