We are now looking for the Vice President Testing & Laboratory within Volvo Penta Technology.


Key responsibilities:
Operational responsibility, lead the organization responsible for the Volvo Penta Test and Laboratory in Gothenburg and nearby located Marine and Industrial test centers. This includes rigs, test boats and belonging workshops. You will have the complete site delivery responsibility including environment, health & safety.
Accountable for budgets and engineering costs within your field of responsibility
Calibration & Verification, responsible for calibration and verification of the Internal Combustion Engines within Volvo Penta product range, and for development of new test methods both virtual and physical.
Management role, you have responsibility over an organization with 9 groups and appr.170 team members, leading leaders and highly motivated engineers, building knowledge and develop key competence areas
Transformation, leading the transformation of Testing & Laboratory, from optimized for diesel combustion engines to electrification and sustainable fuel powertrains, with significant investment scope over the coming years.
Speed in execution and creating flow is a key asset for the role.

We believe you have a University degree as the basis for your career. You are fluent in English as well as Swedish both in business and privately as well as in speaking and writing.
