Your mission is to bring Schibsted companies together by enabling seamless interaction and collaboration for Schibsted employees in multiple countries. You will make it possible for our employees to use their skills to do magic with the right tools. This is done together with several teams within Schibsted Enterprise Technology.

You will be a part of the Video conference team that develops and operates Schibsted’s Video conference and live streaming solutions, as well as different technologies to enable a hybrid digital workplace.

You love technology as well as interacting with people. You are eager to experiment with new technologies and see opportunities on how this can bring value. You like to share your knowledge with others and collaborate across teams. When things go wrong you like to get your hands dirty, build understanding and do some real troubleshooting.

In this role it’s important to be a people person, remain calm and be solution oriented in situations that others might consider stressful, as some troubleshooting will occur in ongoing meetings. You’ll need to be a creative problem-solver with the ability to come up with workarounds to quickly solve a specific problem.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Support and troubleshooting of AV and video conference systems and services

Together with the team, always strive to improve and develop our services

-
Personal hands-on assistance during ongoing meetings

-
Helping out with starting meetings and conferences

-
Setting up and monitoring video conference meetings, live streams, and recordings


Required skills and expertise:

-
A genuine interest in AV technology and IT

-
Knowledge of macOS and Windows

-
Service-minded, structured and communicative

-
A security aware mindset

-
Experience and knowledge in troubleshooting video and network problems

-
Ability to explain in non-technical terms

-
Fluent in Norwegian and English

-
A will to deliver value and a mindset to always improve

-
Self motivated and able to work independently, but also a great team player


Meriting qualifications:

-
Cisco Collaboration and Google Meet hardware

-
Google Workspace

-
Programming and/or scripting skills

-
Understanding of integrations and APIs

-
AWS and Linux operating systems

-
Broad experience with different video collaboration tools, like Google Meet, Pexip, Teams and Zoom

-
Experience with programming DSP, Control processor, Amplifiers etc.

-
Nimway or other room booking services
