The role:
Our HSQ officer will be on parental leave so we are now offering a temporary position within Sibelco. This is a role that combines Health, Safety & Quality for our Västerås site in Sweden. This is an interesting role that could be well suited to a versatile, communicative team player with industry experience.
Responsibilities:
The Health and Safety responsibility of the role is to support the operations site manager in creating and maintaining a safe and effective work environment through the implementation of H&S related activities aligned to the Global Health & Safety Program while taking into account local country legislation.
The Quality responsibility of the role includes performing analyses, calibrations, certifications and handling complaints.
The role also includes providing administration support to Operations.
Skills and Experience requirements:
• Knowledgeable of Swedish legislation related to work environment
• Familiar with implementing processes to minimize chemical handling risk
• Experience in conducting H&S investigations
• SAP and Microsoft Office
• Fluent in Swedish and English
