We are now looking for a coworker that has a strong drive for making new product/feature ideas come true, to join our Product Concepts and New Ideas team. 

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As a team member in Product Concepts & New Ideas you will contribute by:

* generating new great technical/product ideas and concepts for future products.
* creating prototypes or demonstrators to show proof of concept. This in order to drive acceptance of an idea or concept towards technology and product development. This can be everything from simple test of existing parts in a new application to novel advanced product prototype design.

We are in constant need to increase our capacity within idea and prototype generation to support and improve our future products. Typical tasks will be prototyping in the area HW/SW, computer vision etc. 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We believe that you are a person with a creative and open mind-set. You possess a genuine broad technical curiosity and ability to imagine new opportunities for Axis video products. You have the ability to define and actively drive activities/projects. Good communication skills, enabling you to convey and describe new ideas or concepts to an initiated as well as non-initiated audience is also important.

You also have:

* A Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Physics or similar.
* Relevant experience of front end innovation and conceptual development within electronics industry.
* Experience of developing for embedded systems.

Your English is fluent – both verbally and written. Knowledge in computer vision is a distinct advantage.

THE PRODUCT CONCEPTS & NEW IDEAS TEAM
Product Concepts and New Ideas mission is to bring new products within video products to the market. To do this in an efficient way we are a self-contained unit with a broad set of competencies with the ability to design and implement new product prototypes. The purpose is to get a broad understanding of a new product idea before entering product development.

We collaborate with Product Managers, Business Development Managers as well as different disciplines within Axis Research & Development organization.
