Group Visits Management, within Business Support is a part of Visit Scania, Scania's global visits organisation. Our task is to strengthen the Scania brand, support sales, increase the knowledge about Scania’s solutions and to build partnership with our customers.
We do it by coordinating visits, events, conferences and exhibitions on assignment from the Scania’s entire organisation. We are also responsible for the guide organisation in Södertälje and for the Global Visit Scania network by maintaining the Visit Operating Standard (VOS). Today the group consists of 17 employees.
One of our coordinators have moved on to new challenges abroad and therefore we are looking for a new colleague.
Your task
As a Visits and Event Coordinator, you will provide support to Scania's internal customers for visits and events. You will plan and organize visits to Scania from all parts of the world and will, through this work, build a large network of contacts both within and outside the Scania organization. Each individual assignment is handled as a project in which specific suppliers are contracted as needed. You have a variety of connectors to handle, both cross-functional contacts, clients and suppliers.
You also have an important role acting as an proactive advisor to our assignors. You will work with knowledgeable colleagues, and together with them continue to develop Scania visits and event activities to an even higher level.

You are positive, structured and open to change and like working with continuous improvements.
As a Visits and Event Coordinator you are interested in people and can withstand a sometimes hectic pace. You are proactive and creative as well as being a team player. You find it easy to collaborate and make connections both within and outside the company.
You express yourself fluently in both spoken and written English and Swedish, more languages is meritorious. You have a relevant university degree or similar.
It is an advantage if you have experience in the meeting industry and good knowledge of Scania and the Scania business.
