Visual Merchandising/Activity Manager, IKEA Stockholm Kungens Kurva

We are looking for 2 new Managers that will have a shared responsibility for the Visual Merchandising team and work in close collaboration but with different focus areas. One role will focus on running business and have the overall responsibility for the team's competence. The other role will focus on activities and projects and co-ordinate resources from different work areas within our function.
We are looking for motivated leaders who want to lead, develop and coach our co-workers to inspire and surprise our visitors by presenting and communicating IKEAs home furnishings offering with strong visual impressions that exceed visitors expectations. You have a commercial mindset and see opportunities in an always changing environment and have the capability to be an inspiring and motivating leader. You communicate in a simple, honest and trusting way. You are constantly looking for new opportunities to make improvements in how we work and encourage your team to do the same. You give responsibility, involve and lead by example. Of course, you are driven to achieve results.
You know IKEAs way of working when it comes to presenting the IKEA range and are passionate about home furnishing and modern retailing. We are happy to see that you previously worked with leadership within IKEA and show understanding of how to lead a creative process. You have a relevant education and/or background in home furnishing/retail design or experience from working with different projects.


A day in your life with us
The mission for IKEAs Communication & Interior design Team is to inspire and surprise our visitors through the visual expression in our store.
As a Visual Merchandising/Activity Manager you lead the Visual Merchandising team in creating exciting range presentation solutions that provide an easy and convenient shopping experience and increase vitality in the store. You will have a strategic overview, keep track of where we are going and the steps to get there.
You will have direct responsibility for about 10 co-workers that you will lead, coach and develop in accordance with IKEAs people agenda and values. You will also be a part of the Management team within Communication and Interior Design.
