The Visualisation Operations department is part of the Strategic, Brand & Visualisation unit at Volvo Cars Design. The department is responsible to visualise design projects in images, animations, real-time 3D visualisation and VR from the first sketch to when our products are launched to our customers. The department at Volvo Cars Design has the ambition of becoming the best in our industry and are now looking for experienced talents being part of building this future.

About the job
The Visualisation department is divided into three teams – Design Visualisation, Media Visualisation and Technical Visualisation. Design Visualisation is the team creating real-time visualisation, images, animations, and VR material for design decision-making in car programmes. The team is now recruiting a Visualisation Artist to be part of the daily operations in the design process by creating real-time models, images, animations and VR.

What you will do:
We are looking for a candidate that has a broad experience in the design visualisation process, being able to build up interior and exterior visualisation models for realtime/VR experiences, create high quality images and animations for presentations. You will work closely with interior/exterior/color & material designers and studio engineers to create all visual content for a project.

Do you fit the profile?
We believe you have experience working as a Visualisation Designer, 3D Artist or Visualisation Artist in the automotive industry. You have advanced software skills in VRED and Photoshop. You have experience with data preparation. Documented software skills in Deltagen, Alias, Maya, After Effects, Unreal is a plus and a big bonus if you also know how to use Nuke. You are a tech-guru and knows how computers, systems and VR works.

We believe you have good cooperation and communication skills. You are fluent in English both verbally and written.
