VODIA Support Engineer

Volvo Penta is happy to announce that we are now hiring a VODIA Support Engineer to our Field Service & Diagnostic Tool support department. A Support Engineer who has an extensive knowledge in Volvo embedded systems including mechatronics and electronics, and who is ready to take action.
VODIA is Pentas selected and in house developed diagnostic tool for aftermarket. The tool provides SW distribution, fault tracing and DTC handling for end user.
As a Vodia Support Engineer you will be a member of the VODIA support team, your main responsibility will be to investigate, aid and assist VODIA users to accomplish their support ambition to end customer.
Your main tasks will be to:
Supply technical support for our diagnostic tool VODIA
Utilize network to find best possible solution
Perform testing of new versions as well as trying to recreate user experience
Aid improving support process and case management tools
Who are you?
To be successful in this position you need to be service minded, well organized and have excellent communication and networking skills. As a person you are analytical, solution focused and comfortable to work both independently and in teams. Volvo Group electrical architecture competence (EA2 and EA2+) and Volvo Penta business knowledge is meriting as well as competence in Volvo Penta diagnostic routines.
You need to have curiosity and drive to take on new possibilities and you have the drive to challenge existing structures and have a genuine interest in vehicle electronics and IT.
Documentation and communication with regional colleagues are kept in English as a prerequisite and Swedish is used in most of the daily communication in office. Travelling will be required on occasion.
