Volvo Group Quality & Process Management are responsible for driving cross-functional activities across the Volvo Group within the area of Quality Management, Management Systems, Business Process Approach and Quality and Environmental Audit and Certification. We support colleagues in our networks all over the world with methods, training, facilitation and coaching.
We are also managing the contract with the Volvo Group’s external provider of ISO-certification services, assuring that the Volvo Group globally is compliant and certified to relevant international standards, securing the Volvo Group’s ability to self-certify, sell in key markets, participate in major sales tenders, and adhere to sustainability, societal and legal requirements.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Management System Leader will, together with a core team of experts, support management system architecture and formalization, and lead the evaluation of how well the management system performs throughout the Volvo Group; compliance to internal and external requirements, chosen standards, decided ways of working and an overall evaluation of performance in the quality, environmental and safety domains.
Your work tasks include the following:
Drive the work towards the quality and environmental audit approach.
Drive, facilitate and support joint audit planning and consolidated outcomes and recommendations. Collaboration is key and you will work in close cooperation with all areas within the Volvo Group and the external audit provider.
Facilitate cross functional End-To-End quality and sustainability audits (external and internal).
Training and coaching in Quality / Environment/ Safety standards and the Volvo Group audit approach and process.
Act as the Volvo Group expert in process model and architecture.
Continuously improve the team capabilities, developing yourself thanks to your colleagues’ support, and helping them develop their competences thanks to your expertise

Required knowledge/experience
In this position you will report to the Director of Volvo Group Quality and Process Management.
To be successful in your new role we believe you have the following knowledge/experience:
Master or Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Production, Quality/Lean/ Sustainability, or other related degree, or ~10 years’ equivalent experience.
At least 5+ years of experience in quality, process, lean, sustainability or supply chain management or other relevant areas, preferably in trucks or car industry.
5+ years leading leaders’ experience is an advantage.
Holistic and customer centric approach, understanding the End-To-End value flow.
Knowledge and auditing skills in ISO9001 and ISO14001.
Experience and skills to manage, assess and improve Management System’s efficiency and effectiveness towards increased business value and excellence.
Continuously inspire, develop, motivate and thereby secure competence of people working with process and audit management across all functions in the Volvo Group.
Excellent communication, networking and relationship building skills, including great communication skills in English, spoken and written.
Previous experience of lean and/or other continuous improvement methods.
Experience from working with databases and process modeling tools, like for example Mega Hopex is an advantage.
Fluency in Swedish is an advantage.
