We are looking for a global leader for a newly created team within our marketing organization that is focused on communications planning and activation. This position will play a key role in developing our marketing strategy, understanding and developing our investment profiles across the world, and translating that into activation tools for marketing channels.
· Manage a large team of people across geographies
· Deliver a robust return on marketing investment back to the business supporting growth objectives
· Ensure fit for channel content being delivered and deployed across touchpoints
· Implement marketing operations globally, to deliver core project management capability in marketing
· Through data & Analytics team, develop key models on ROMI and attribution based analytics to understand investment effect in both the short and long term
Job responsibilities
This role will be end-to-end responsible to media (agency selection, in/outsource decisions, strategy, planning, buying, optimizing), content (creative development, asset creation, localization, optimization and testing), marketing operations (program and project management to drive work through the marketing value chain) and marketing analytics (experimentation, optimization and modeling).
Build and develop communications planning as a core process and way of working in marketing globally
Manage diverse and geographically dispersed team of ~100 people to meet the needs of the business and ensure effectiveness
Develop and deploy core methodologies around strategic investments, media cycle optimization, performance media effectiveness and agency management
Deliver fit for channel content across marketing touchpoints, creating and holding up the standard that all content developed is deployed and measured
Develop advanced analytics models, specifically targeting return on investment as well touchpoint effectiveness analysis models to support our overall investment decisions.
Through Data & Analytics team, build and deploy models (ex. MMM), in collaboration with BA’s, to clarify the effectiveness of our efforts in marketing and beyond, using actuals to form fact based conclusions
Communications planning should provide strategic rigor to the implementation of the ‘marketing idea’, ensuring integration of the work between creative and media.
Key outputs include:
o messaging frameworks
o comms tasks
o tactical briefs
o communications ecosystems.
Build and implement marketing operations capability – as this is a new function, the goal is to develop new ways of working, and to deploy those across the organization

Educational Requirements
University degree – MBA preferred
Experience and Skill Requirements
20-25 year’s of experience managing teams in a global environment
Experience with media and agencies is required
Deep expertise in managing large ($100m +) budgets with high rigour
Analytics and measurement experience
