Who are we?
ABC Labs was created in Spring 2020 as a direct response to the coronavirus pandemic. Since then we have performed more than 25% of Sweden’s national covid-19 PCR testing.
Our culture is defined by speed, agility, and innovation without ever compromising the highest standards of quality. ABC was the first in Sweden to set up a mass screening for both the Delta and Omicron variants and the first in Europe to launch tests for measuring T-cell immunity.
We believe the pandemic has changed diagnostics and healthcare forever. Looking towards the future, we are investing heavily to create solutions that make testing affordable, accessible, and readily available.
About the role
As our VP of Engineering, you will play an influential role as a people leader for tech talents. You will be building and leading an engineering department (nearly) from the ground up.
You will work closely with our development team to ensure that we have the right skills inventory to keep growing.
You will be responsible well for the team’s productivity and well-being. You will be coaching and leading individuals towards progress while ensuring that everyone is sailing in the right direction.
You will have an influential and fundamental role in the company; your work will help to shape the strategy of product development. You will be a leader in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment where you will be working closely with the medical experts, and lab staff, and supporting various functions across the organization.
You will report to the CTO, and you will be based at our headquarters in Solna. The role is mostly on-site, but we are open to working from home now and then.
