Title: VP, Finance – Solutions

The VP of Finance is responsible for working in a business partnership with the Business Unit General Manager to provide executive leadership, financial strategies, and the management of global financial resources to ensure the achievement of the unit’s business plans and objectives. Operational components will focus on best practice, process and system improvements, risk management and cost savings. The successful candidate will be a professional of unquestionable integrity, credibility, and character who has demonstrated high moral and ethical behavior.


Strategy, Planning and Management
· Act as a strategic business partner to Business Unit General Manager
· Assess and evaluate financial performance of organization regarding long-term operational goals, budgets and forecasts. Provide insight and recommendations to both short-term and long-term growth plans of the organization.
· Evaluate departments and make suggestions for automating processes and increasing working efficiency.
· Communicate, engage and interact with CFO and Corporate Finance and Accounting team.
· Establish and foster the link between group, region and country business units in all financial matters.
· Participate in pivotal decisions as they relate to strategic initiatives and operational models.
· Support M&A activities.

Finance Responsibilities
· Review and analyze monthly financial results and provide recommendations.
· Identify, develop and execute analysis of budget initiatives, product launches and or new service offerings.
· Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems processes, tools and control systems.
· Maintain strategic alliances with vendors and business partners.
· Create and utilize forward looking models and analyses to provide financial insight into the organization’s operating plans.


Requirements:

· An analytical thinker who has the ability to manage an internal global financial organization while also focusing on the external aspects of publicly held organization.
· Articulate, persuasive, and able to build confidence with the financial staff and the executive management team.
· The candidate should offer a good balance of risk-taking and judgment, and be entrepreneurial, self-confident, and decisive.
· The ability to quickly command respect and credibility through intellectual acumen, business knowledge, and practical understanding of both the financial and operational aspects of a business.
· Hands-on pragmatic approach to business, asset management, cash flow, and profitability.


Education, Experience & Skills
· Minimum of 10 to 15 years of work experience with an accelerated career growth path current experience being in a global senior financial management positions.
· A strong background in operational finance and controls with a leadership role in reporting financial results
· SAP financial systems working knowledge a plus/preferred
· Experienced in a fast growth environment, providing strategic direction from a financial and operational standpoint.
· Ability to analyze financial statements and make recommendations to improve financial /operational results.
· Ability to develop, implement and manage change effectively.
· Prior experience with international markets and offices.
· Advance degree in finance or accounting; MBA strongly preferred.
