About the role:
As VP Gaming you will be responsible for our commercial team dealing with our merchants in the Online Gambling and Betting industry. The primary responsibility for the team is to manage the relationship with Trustlys existing merchants in this industry segment. Trustly today holds a mature position in the online gaming segment and hence you will allocate the majority of your time to managing and upselling existing relationships, however in the VP Gaming role you will also be responsible for potential opportunities to sell Trustly to new merchants in online gaming as may be relevant. You will be reporting to SVP of Sales & Distribution.
Key duties and responsibilities:
Manage team of 16 Account Developers
Lead commercial negotiations with key merchants
Develop and execute on Trustly’s distribution strategy within online gaming
Identify and execute on key commercial opportunities within online gaming
Prepare and deliver reporting to Senior management (CEO, CCO, SVP Sales & Distribution)
Actively participate to drive Trustly thought leadership in payments for the online gaming industry
Actively participate in industry events
Who you are:
Strong commercial mindset
You are a highly structured individual who can manage multiple different workstreams simultaneously
You have a thorough understanding of payments
You have a strong network and understanding of the online gaming industry
At least 10 years of experience from payments and/or online gaming
You are fluent in English, both verbal and written and it’s a bonus if you speak other languages
Comfortable with travelling within Europe if required
