Unit Description
The Husqvarna Division, with approximately 8500 FTEs, is organized into functions including the function Sales with a turnover of approximately 27 billion SEK (of which 14bn SEK outside NA) and approximately 1300 FTE's organized in 6 regions. Business is conducted globally by 33 Sales Subsidiaries and approximately 120 Distributors.

Objectives
VP Global Sales is a key role with focus on business growth and profitability. Working closely with your management team, you will be responsible for developing, refining and implementing the Sales, Service and Distribution strategy linked to our Husqvarna Division Strategic Plan. A critical success factor will be your capability to develop your organization and talents as well as collaborating across functions and divisions.

The Husqvarna Division has several interesting and challenging business opportunities that we want the VP Global Sales to address. Key challenges are driving profitable sales growth and brand market share in both developed as well as emerging markets across a broad portfolio of leading outdoor power products, and to continue build the market for electrical/battery products.

Preferred qualifications
You have a qualified sales management experience of successful strategy and business development of a leading brand(s) within a global and multicultural matrix organization that contains the full spectrum of functions. You have a solid track record of delivering results including experience of driving increased customer focus and sales and market orientation as a means of achieving top and bottom line growth. Experience in multiple channel environments is an asset.

Skills and capabilities
You must have a strong passion for profitable business development based on an outside-in perspective. You are able to push for creative business development initiatives that are complemented by professional risk analysis. You combine your strategic ability with target setting and an ability to define action plans, as well as a bias for action.
Your management style is collaborative, based on delegated responsibilities in combination with continuous and goal oriented follow-up. You take pride in the accomplishments of the business and you live as you learn.
