VP Information & Cybersecurity
Mission and context
In this role you will be the leader of Information & Cybersecurity in the 2nd line of defense, defining, communicating, planning, and executing all Volvo Group's strategic goals and ambitions in the information security operations and technology space. You will be the main point of senior contact within the 2nd line for all TD/BA/GFs and be responsible for the information security strategy, roadmap, directives, and overall information security risk assurance.
You will oversee four teams, Risk & Assurance, Strategy & Governance, Training & Awareness and Business Information Security (Coordination), with an ambition of having about 30 team members in total.
The successful candidate reports directly to the Senior Vice President Group Security.
Main Responsibilities
Lead Group Security’s Information Security function (2nd line in the cyber defense)
Provide leadership for the overall Information security strategy, directives development, risk management, compliance, supply chain, communications, and awareness efforts in relation to information security
Develop and own the information security strategy and oversee the information security strategy implementation
Act as the Group-wide representative with respect to inquiries from customers, partners, and the general public regarding Volvo Group’s information security strategy
Act as the Group-wide representative when dealing with law enforcement agencies while pursuing the sources of attacks and/or information theft
Ensure resilience and information assurance for all organizational and technical aspects of information security
Initiate and oversee specific security and compliance reviews and internal/external audits
Escalate security incidents/crisis to relevant boards/committees, in consultation with relevant stakeholders such as the head of Group Security and Enterprise IT Security
Provide summarized reports on Information security metrics to relevant management committees
Forecast and manage Information & Cybersecurity function budget
Requirements and Qualifications
Master's degree in Business, Information technology, cybersecurity, or related field
10+ years of professional experience in the area of information security or cybersecurity
Thought leader in information security and risk assurance that is consensus building, and persuasive with a demonstrated ability to be an effective member of senior management
Advanced knowledge of information security and related technologies, concepts and processes, incl. application hosting, infrastructure, incident response and risk management
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the flexibility to interact on all different seniority levels
Executive presence, judgment, and sharp in communicating and supporting effective discussion and decision making
