About the job
This interesting senior leadership position for Marketing & Communications in Alfa Laval’s Marine Division combines marketing process ownership with communication leadership. The role is both strategic and tactical, with a focus on the internal and the external audience. Online marketing & communications is an area of continues focus and development.
* Inspire and lead the divisional team in the Marine Division (7 employees). Drive the development of the individuals as well as strengthen the cooperation between the central and regional professionals.
* As a member of the management team of the Marine Division drive and lead the development and implementation of both divisional communication strategy as well as marketing processes and execution of communication concepts and tactics, with high focus on online marketing.
* In addition, drive internal communication in the Division in order to support the strategic direction and follow through to success.
* Contribute in developing communications by taking an active part in Marketing & Communications management team. You will work in close cooperation with the VP’s for the other Divisions as well as the Global Sales & Service organization.
* You are expected to challenge status quo, to share your experiences and demonstrate your ability to listen and be a team player. You need to be able to drive change in an international structure.

The VP, Marketing & Communications, Marine Division reports to the Head of Marketing & Communications, Peter Torstensson, with a dotted reporting line to Sameer Kalra, Head of the Marine division. The position is placed in Tumba, Sweden.

What you know
* Senior leader with experience from international business.
* Driven marketer and communicator, with interest in highly advanced technical product marketing & sales and with in-depth experience from marketing, strategic internal and external communications, including online marketing
* Ready to take an active practical role in the operational work, such as messaging and internal communications.
* Good communication skills, fluent in English. Education on Bachelor or Master Level in marketing and communications, with a technical interest.
* Business-oriented with cross-cultural understanding, a natural capacity for influencing and building strong networks, self-driven, outgoing and a team player.
* Highly valued Leadership competences; leading and driving change, engaging the individual, working strategically, creativity and networking and influencing.
