Manager/Director/VP of Business & Corporate Development
(Title and salary commensurate with experience)

Anocca is a fully integrated biopharmaceutical company developing libraries of T cell receptor-engineered T cell (TCR-T) therapies to redefine the treatment of solid tumours. Our proprietary technologies radically expand the utility of TCR-T allowing us to systematically develop treatments for the broadest patient populations, equipping the immune system against the most difficult to treat solid cancers. The lead TCR-T candidates from our 40+ preclinical asset library target KRAS driver mutations and will enter clinical development in 2024. Anocca operates an advanced research and development infrastructure, underpinned by custom software and in-house clinical manufacturing and process development facilities. Our unique discovery platform uses programmable human cells to recreate and manipulate T-cell immunity. Founded in 2014, Anocca operates from state-of-the-art R&D and manufacturing facilities in Södertälje, Sweden. Furthermore, it has a hub in Stockholm hosting parts of the software development team and a satellite in London to drive our Business Development activities.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will work closely with Anocca’s corporate function leadership team based in both Södertälje, Sweden and London, UK and will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction and future growth of Anocca. Your role will be pivotal in orchestrating ambitious collaborations and contributing to the long-term success of these partnerships.
Core scope
Business & Corporate Development
- Work closely with the business development and corporate functions leadership to scope and deliver projects of strategic importance to Anocca and supporting business critical decision making.
- Take a leadership role in maxmimising Anocca’s external presence and impact.
- Proactively identify and propose business and corporate development opporuntities
Competitive & Market Intelligence
- Generate high-quality market intelligence, analysis and forecasting outputs to provide the executive team with an up-to-date view of the external environment and the value of Anocca’s technologies and assets.
- Maintain relevant CRM databases.
Project Management
- Develop high-quality presentation materials and briefing documents to support conversations with potential partners, investors and internal stakeholders including the Board of Directors.
- Coordinate and deliver top-quality data room to support effective due diligence processes.
- Proactively suggest, plan and lead special projects for the Anocca C-suite
- Lead the coordination of interactions with third-party organisations, including management of legal agreement and deal-flow process.
Qualifications
- Scientific or medical educational background, preferably at MSc, MD, or PhD level, other advanced degree holders (e.g. MBA, LL.M) will be considered
- Progressive experience in the pharmaceutical industry or in academia working with collaborations
- Experience in negotiating and structuring complex licensing agreements, collaborations, and partnerships.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical market dynamics, trends, and competitive landscape.
- Experience of managing projects in a dynamic, fast-moving and cross- -functional environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and ability to generate high quality presentations and financial analyses.
You should demonstrate exceptional interpersonal abilities, enabling you to lead, engage with, negotiate with, and effectively address conflicts among individuals and companies. Your experience in international contexts has granted you valuable insight into how diverse cultures can impact business interactions
