We are now looking for a VP of Sales to join our Global Sales Team, being responsible for the Americas team. You will be working remotely but be part of our office in Crystal City, Washington D.C.

A leader at Hive
Heading the Americas Sales team at Hive means being a leader. At Hive, leaders help others grow and succeed by providing direction and facilitation. It also means embodying Hive’s three Core Values: Innovation, Customer Centricity and Empowerment.
To begin with, you will lead the team including 3 Regional Sales Director and Enterprise Executives. Your responsible is building a high-performing team through recruiting, developing and retaining talent.
As the VP of Sales, you will work closely with the entire Sales organization and will collaborate closely with Sales Engineering, Alliance, Customer Success and the Finance and Product teams to continuously create successful cross-functional processes and great team spirit. You will have the mandate to improve and drive initiatives and report directly to Anna Ståhl, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) in Stockholm.
You will…
- Focus on building a “Hive Team” as opposed to “My Team”: - Manage regional/vertical cross-functional team members where the core members are Enterprise Executives and Regional Sales Directors
- Motivate and coach a high performing sales team by: - Leading with a focus on inclusiveness, being humble, a good listener and create global cross functional relationships
- Drive engagement and make sure everyone is aligned on processes & routines
- Represent Hive Streaming to a large number of current and future customers in the Americas
- Support and coach in the lifecycle management
- Being a Hive ambassador by always being close to the market and customers
- Always thrive for improvements in collaboration with the whole organization by for example sharing your thought with management and other stakeholders
Previous Experience
- 5+ years of proven experience working with Enterprise SaaS in a formal leadership role within Sales, Customers Success, Partner Channel or similar commercial position
- Experience of leading a team by coaching, inspiring and supporting with processes and structure
- Worked as an Account Executive, Customer Success or in a similar B2B technology sales role where you carried a quota
- Fluent in English
It would be a big plus if you have been working towards the Global market and if you have sold through partners.
