VP Operations Nordic
The VP Operations Nordic, including Finland, Denmark, Sweden and Norway, is overall responsible for the performance of the Market Business Unit (MBU) Nordic Supply Chain Operations and for developing and executing the MBU Nordic Operations strategy in line with the overall ITAB Group Operations strategy. The area of responsibility covers the end-to-end supply chain, including planning, purchasing, manufacturing, warehouse operations, distribution and logistics of ITAB produced and traded goods.
AS VP Operations Nordic you are a member of the MBU Nordic management team and the Operations Matrix management team.
Areas of responsibility
Formulating strategic plans and operational targets for MBU Nordic in alignment with overall ITAB Group Operations strategy and objectives and in cooperation with the COO, product management and the commercial team.
Overseeing day-to-day MBU Nordic Operations and monitor performance to proactively identify efficiency issues and propose solutions.
Providing regular updates on performance and improvements to COO and Operations Matrix management.
Providing input to Group Operations investment and cost budgets, and country quarterly and yearly budgets.
Leading continuous improvement initiatives to optimize costs, improve quality, manage risks, enhance operational efficiency, improve sustainability, maximize profitability and improve performance.
Developing MBU Nordic operational practices, processes and ERP usage in alignment with ITAB Group process owners.
Leading technology and component alignment and operational development across all facilities within MBU Nordic.
Establishing reporting and meeting structure to facilitate efficient communication within relevant MBU Nordic forums.
Together with country VP hiring, training and mentoring MBU Nordic Operations leaders to ensure a high-performing and engaged leadership team.
Leading as an example of the One ITAB culture fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, motivation, and continuous learning following the ACT development program.
Your profile
You are a senior industrial manager with significant previous experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with international stakeholders. You have a proven track record in process development, new system implementation and team transformation delivering long term measurable results.
To be successful in this role, we believe it is important that you have comprehensive understanding of global supply chain management and manufacturing and purchase processes. You have a verified track record in operational leadership roles. Good knowledge in lean production and continues improvement methodology together with strong business acumen with the ability to align operational strategies with overall business objectives are qualities we like you to have.
You have excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams. You are a strategic thinker capable of translating visions into actionable plans. You are also adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced and evolving business environment. We want you to be an inspirational leader with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams. You also have the ability to keep a holistic approach together with a hands-on leadership.
You have a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in fields such as business management, supply chain management, operations management, or related areas together with a strong practical knowledge. Due to our global set up, it is crucial that you master English and Swedish or another Scandinavian language fluently both spoken and in writing.
