Do you thrive in building, coaching, and managing sales teams? We are looking for an exceptional VP of Sales to own the leadership and development of the Sales function at Kognity. You will lead and support our global sales team by setting and executing sales goals for new customers. We have colleagues in India, Sweden, United Kingdom, and the United States.
You must have a genuine passion for B2B sales and a proven track record working at a senior level in fast-growing SaaS organizations. You will continuously make the necessary improvements in the sales organization, processes, activity level, and structure to ensure the team meets the customer acquisition and growth objectives.
To be successful within this role, you must be comfortable driving organizational changes, communicating clearly, and making decisions as needed. As a leader, you’ll collaborate with other supportive leaders across the organization. You will report to the Chief Commercial Officer and be part of Kognity’s Commercial Leadership Team, working closely with the VP of Customer Success, VP of Marketing, and other cross-functional leaders.

Proven success within a leadership role in a high-growth SaaS sales organization.
5+ years managing and growing a high-performing B2B sales team with a people-first mindset.
Experience managing a globally based team.
Ability to think strategically with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and execute in collaboration with other team members.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiating skills are essential, along with the ability to balance a varied workload.
A high degree of independence with the ability to effectively plan, prioritize and organize your activities is essential.
What you'll get to do...
Creating and implementing sales strategies to meet the customer acquisition and growth objectives
Building, managing, and motivating our global sales team
Development of the existing sales team through coaching, training, recruitment, etc
Nurturing and maintaining global client relationships
Identifying and generating new opportunities across IB and IGCSE markets; in the future will include NGSS in the US
Utilizing our current client base to generate new business across our markets
Analyzing the feedback from clients to optimize product development and marketing activities
Reporting on KPIs to the executive leadership team and using data to develop strategy, goal-setting, etc
