VP Sales Northern Europe Customer Growth

We are recruiting for a VP Sales Northern Europe Customer Growth. The role reports into the SVP Sales EMEA and is located in Stockholm, Sweden.
Role Description
• Overall responsible for planning, execution and performance delivery for Northern Europe area.
• Area Sales towards all customers, products and cargo segments.
• Align/coordinate Customer and Cargo priorities against contract delivery
• Close communication with PDC and operations roles for Shipping Services and Logistics Services
• Identify and prepare business case for growth opportunity
Accountabilities
Drives area sales efforts, performance and strategy in line with Long Term Strategy, Business Plan and Targets
Global Account Management and support for accounts designated in the area, inc. driving/contributing to contract renewal, new business opportunities and CFACS as needed
Execution and hands on mentality
Close engagement with Sales regional functions, Trades, and other markets as required
Sales Support delivery in the area
Senior Representative in area customer engagement
Sales agency management for the area
Ensure CG organizational capabilities, resource, and succession planning for the area
Support CX initiatives and daily activities​​​​​​​

BUSINESS PLANNING
Create and follow up area Sales Strategy & Business Plan aligned with and approved by Regional Management
Follow up of annual budget, forecasts, and actual performance analysis within established guidelines

PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
Identify key areas of improvement and promote challenger or disruptive sales approach
Ensure performance targets are met and drive sales growth within designated area
Set and follow up on agreed performance targets

TENDER AND CONTRACT EXTENSION
Engage in area contract and tender processes ensuring alignment with Regional Sales and Business Development & Contracting Teams

CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT
Coordinate structured customer satisfaction follow up within the commitments – KPI reporting etc.
Ensure customer strategies are in place and aligned

SKILLS
Comfortable, capable, and credible leader interacting across different levels of the business with a demonstrated track record of establishing and actively managing relationships with key external stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to drive and lead a sales organization or other customer related functions
Flexible, adaptable, and collaborative- ability to foster an agile working environment
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills

Most essential competencies required
Proven track record as a strong people leader
Wide understanding of the Logistics Services and Shipping Services markets and potential new markets to enter in the designated area
Relationship Management multi-level and multi-product and service offering
Leveraging customer journey to deliver improved customer experience as well as generate incremental business value
