VP Scandinavia to Menzies Aviation at Stockholm-Arlanda Airport

We are now looking for a VP to join our North, East & West Europe leadership team. The role is based in Stockholm-Arlanda Airport and reports to the to the SVP for North, East & West Europe, you will provide operational leadership for all aspects of our existing Scandinavian operations, whilst working closely with the NEW Europe leadership team driving our excellence manifesto strategy.


YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
Effective relationship management of our existing accounts
Developing and implementing short and long term commercial/sales plans.
Effective management of financial and operational performance with special focus on our Key Accounts.
Menzies Aviation appointed Director of the legal entities, to represent the interests of the company.
Ensuring all stations excel in the areas of Safety, Security, People, GSE, Training, Quality & Compliance.
Delivery of profitable growth against target (measured by EBIT) and strong customer satisfaction.
Development and management of financial forecasts and budgets.
Management, motivation & development of the team and support function managers to ensure the delivery of operational and financial objectives.



THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
Extensive knowledge and experience of GH operations.
Previous proven success in the simultaneous multi-site “turnaround” of challenging aviation operational environments via the implementation of change and performance improvement initiatives.
Proven successful track record of winning and retaining commercial aviation contracts.
Financially and commercially astute with extensive experience and a strong grasp of financial practices.
Proven leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and direct a large management team and display strong decision making ability.
Demonstrable track record in consistently delivering operational excellence and business performance.
Fluency in spoken and written English language is essential.

Working Hours: Full time
Duration: Permanent (with 6 months’ probation)
Start: as per agreement
