Your role within our Kingdom
To define and drive the implementation of the Candy Crush Saga (CCS) creative strategy across Game Design, Level Design, Art, UI and UX, to enable CCF to evolve creatively, to expand audience reach, deepen player engagement and enable increased player investment.
• As part of the CCS Leadership to build the strategy and roadmap for CCS product development, innovation and evolution to set it up for success in the next decade.
• To build and lead, in partnership with the CCS leadership teams, a world -class creative organisation, upholding high creative standards and creating positive change for the players, the game, the team and the business.
Key Responsibilities
To develop a long -term creative vision, strategy and roadmap for Candy Crush, gaining senior stakeholder engagement and buy -in by:
• Conducting ongoing comprehensive reviews of current state to identify areas of focus that drive advancements
• Defining ways -of -working across the team that drive operational and creative excellence
• Partnering with other leaders to create highly agile and capable teams dedicated to the success and delivery of boundary -breaking product features and creativity to increase player experience and engagement
• Drive continually to improve game quality, operational efficiency and accelerate feature development
• Lead and actively coach the CCS creative organisation, helping to attract the very best talent in the industry
• As the most senior creative in CCS, advocate for the interests of your crafts within the King (and Activision Blizzard) senior leadership team
• Develop a roadmap for continuous improvement in the development of people in your crafts that foster an environment of innovation and world class creative capability.
• Act as a role model for the King values, take the lead on company -wide initiatives to and find ways to evolve and reinforce our culture
• Attracts and develops top Talent - A reputation as a leader who has successfully recruited and developed a world -class creative team. Enjoys coaching and providing hands on support having led teams in a changing environment. Embraces the value that different perspectives and cultures can bring
• Drives Engagement – Creates a climate where people are motivated to do their best to help the organisation achieve its objectives. Proven ability to execute through other leaders, coaching them to achieve their potential and achieve their goals
• Balances Stakeholders - A reputation as a team player who can navigate across a company successfully and with the ability to make an impact in the business. Can anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders in particular creative versus delivery balances.
