Are you our new Verfication & Validation Lead?
Arriver™ is a new software unit and brand, fully focused on developing perception, fusion and drive policy software for the next generation cars. It will deliver an open, scalable and flexible architecture solution running on Qualcomm® Snapdragon Ride™ System on a Chip (SoC) platform. Arriver™ has 800 people in five countries - China, Germany, Romania, Sweden, USA - and builds on more than a decade of experience in active safety software development. The company is wholly owned by Veoneer.
In Sweden we are situated in Linkoping, Stockholm and Gothenburg with around 400 colleagues.
What you'll do:
We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer specialized in the area of Verification and Validation (V&V) and acting in our project as the V&V lead. We search for a V&V expert with deep ADAS and automotive expertise who is purpose-driven, curious team-player and that will strengthen our development organization for ongoing and upcoming global ADAS project projects.
Our international, agile and highly collaborative teams of developers work closely together to design, develop, and deliver an integrated, customized software stack to global automakers. As a V&V Lead you work in development project as the lead engineer responsible for coordination and definition of V&V activities in the complex multidisciplinary and multinational team environment. Main project focus is on developing drive policy SW (i.e. ADAS features) and as V&V lead you are a key contributor to the safety and quality of our SW by ensuring the right side of the V-cycle is performed according to industry standards and best practices.
Your daily work in initial project will consist of e.g:
- Coordination, planning, reporting V&V activities related to multi-ECU systems of systems intended for platform or OEM usage. You will be mainly responsible for the System of System validation in the central ECU while other teams perform V&V of Radar and Camera ECUs which together forms an ADAS subsystem for our customer Vehicle platform.
- Defining verification concepts incl proposal of new test methods and test cases to reach quality and safety targets.
- Technically main responsible for completeness of V&V activities performed on unit, HIL, SIL, or Vehicle level.
- Plan vehicle level test campaigns incl. data collection and/or feature validation. Support with technical expertise test drivers to plan and troubleshoot their test campaigns.
- Ensuring release documentation is up to date and accurate by writing documents as well as analyzing and approving test results.
- Track and report status of all V&V activities in your project incl. other countries and organizations. Report to management and to external customers
- Support local garage site management and data management in Gothenburg incl. budgeting and process work
- Participate in Global V&V Community of Practice to share best practice and define way of working
What you'll bring:
To succeed in this position, we think you have:
- a Master of Science in Computer or Electical Engineer or equivalent area
- a minimum of 5 years experience of automotive development of ADAS features such as ACC, AEB, LKA etc
- a Solid hands-on Background in Test Management role & Testing incl automated test setups using HIL as well as massive vehicle level test campaigns
- Experience of requirement based development of safety critical SW (V-cycle and ISO26262)
- Co-ordination & Communication skills with special focus on Communication with remote global teams.
- Driving License and a fundamental interest in Vehicles and Traffic
You are experienced in planning, organizing and driving complex project by an excellent technical grip of the ADAS V&V methods combined with your coordination skills. As a person you enjoy teamwork and contributes to the team spirit. You are also motivated by new challenges. You are focused on details and finds motivation knowing your test cases may save lives!
You are fluent in English and preferably also Swedish.
