Arbetsbeskrivning
Are you a software architect or a senior developer with experience in embedded systems?
The future is here, and Scania is rapidly adapting to a situation where software is an integral part of our product portfolio. Many new projects are starting where real-time software is critical and expertise in embedded software and control is required. In this challenging environment, there is a need for a specialized team that can develop and configure a software platform. The team plays a central part in shaping and developing future ECUs for all brands in the Traton group.
In the middleware team, we currently deliver our proprietary platform software that enables all functional development in the Powertrain domain at Scania. We are now expanding to be able to support more systems outside of the Powertrain domain. Some of these systems use AUTOSAR Classic and we are looking for a software architect who can help us configure an AUTOSAR Classic basic software (BSW) and runtime environment (RTE).
In this team, you will find an open-minded culture and a joyful atmosphere that is driven by mutual respect and a genuine enthusiasm for our products.
Your role
As our AUTOSAR Classic architect, you will be part of two teams: With the Digital Driver Workplace team, you will be working on the BSW/RTE configuration of our future digital driver workplace using AUTOSAR Classic. With the middleware team, you will use your experience from AUTOSAR to help drive the improvement of our proprietary middleware.
Your profile
You are a software architect or a senior developer with experience in embedded systems. You have previously worked with AUTOSAR Classic and ideally, you have used Vector's toolchain (DaVinci Developer/Configurator Classic). Experience with safety and timing-critical architectures, continuous integration, test, and simulation-driven development, or other methods to enhance development speed and quality would be welcome and meriting.
The domain is technically complex and the systems we work with are key to the function, performance, and environmental impact of our products. Engineering background or strong engineering interest is expected.
You prefer to work in a team, sharing responsibility, offering and accepting help when needed. We believe in strong teams and put pride in succeeding together.
You are fluent in both written and spoken English (Swedish is meriting).
Our offer
Scania is leading the shift to sustainable transport. We offer a terrific opportunity to work at the heart and core of embedded software development in an interesting and supportive environment. Your work with us is guaranteed to have a global impact, as well as develop your skills and advance you towards your professional goals.
If the above has sparked your interest, don't hesitate to apply as soon as possible. We are interviewing continuously.
