Warehouse Lean Expert

YOUR ROLE
We are working with a globally leading client with a high pace ship of a large range of products to Swedish customers. As Warehouse Lean Expert, you will report directly to the site manager and take the lead in deploying the Kuehne+Nagel Production Systems (KNPS) Lean Principles and quality standards at the site through the tools of the Lean Six Sigma Methodology. You will play a key role in ensuring an efficient and quality-controlled operation as we work with this strategic global partner. You must be passionate about lean processes, and it is essential that you have a comprehensive understanding of the daily operations as well as a high-level understanding of lean methodology. We expect you to possess a customer-centric mindset and that you have the ability to further elevate the Contract Logistics operations in our site in Norrkoping. Given the scope of the position, you will enjoy broad internal and external stakeholder collaboration. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Continuous Improvement professional to add elements of Quality Control to their experience.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Support and implement Kuehne+Nagel Production Systems (KNPS) and quality standards, including visual management and the 5S methodology at the site
Foster and facilitate the continuous improvement process at the site, ensuring the maintenance of lean and quality standards
Support daily performance management, ensuring that standards are being adhered to in the warehouse
Lead KNPS and quality standards audits
Lead KNPS, continuous improvement and quality projects
Facilitation of Deep Dive Value Stream Analysis (DDVSA) events
Train and support the site teams in the delivery of KNPS and quality standards and targets
Ownership of continuous improvement and quality activity and documentation for the site

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
Proven experience in lean process management within Contract Logistics and Warehousing
Minimum Bachelor’s degree within Logistics or Engineering or equivalent knowledge and skills gained through experience
Demonstrated experience in project management
Skills in statistical analysis and appropriate tools (e.g. Excel)
Great presentation and training skills
Proactive approach with a drive to implement appropriate solutions based on investigation of the operation
Fluency in spoken and written Swedish is required for the position.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification is an advantage
