Warehouse Logistics Engineer
As Warehouse Logistics Engineer you will be working with the implementation and operations of a world class supply chain with main activities within parts ordering, transports and warehousing of spare parts, accessories and merchandize for our cars and customers in a global distribution network.
You will work in a small (but mighty) logistics team but also in close collaboration with other departments, and with interface to the Lynk & Co China organization.
This position reports to the Head of Logistic Operations, Lynk & Co.
The position is based in Gothenburg with a European responsibility; therefore, some travel will be required. Occasional travel to Europe as well as China is also likely to take place in this role.
What you'll do
- Implementation of Spare Parts & Accessories Logistics supply chain
- Forecast scheduling and ordering of parts, with focus on parts to our Regional Car Compound (RCC)
- Work with the operations for material pick-up, book transports and coordinate deliveries
- Interface with Lynk & Co China organization as well as other parties for material supply
- Coordinate Customs clearance activities
- Work with integration to suppliers’ systems and processes
- Document processes for Warehouse Logistics operations
- Continuously improve and implement cost efficient logistics solutions
What you should have
- University degree with focus on Logistics or similar work experience
- Proven experience within logistics and/or supply chain management, preferably in the automotive industry
- Driven problem solver who takes initiatives and responds to changing priorities
- Excellent communication skills.
- Full Professional Proficiency in English - both oral and written
- Ability to travel
