As Warehousing & Network Design Manager, you will provide global expertise and knowledge in warehouse operations related matters to support driving excellence in integrated logistics across Packaging Material/Additional Material/Base Material. You will have an important role in contributing to the development of the logistics strategy and will be responsible for making analyses, identifying opportunities and executing improvements.
This is a global role and you will be joining the Integrated Logistics team within the SCO - ISC organization. Our mandate is to drive the design and delivery of logistics solutions in collaboration with clusters and key stakeholders to reduce cost, increase flexibility and service levels to meet current and future logistics needs end-to-end from supplier to customer.
Main responsibilities
-Provide central expertise and support across PM/AM/BM on all aspects of warehouse operations and network design covering operational to strategic levels
-Conduct analysis of warehouse operations processes and warehouse network design performance to identify improvements
-Lead and drive developments together with key stakeholders and networks to improve warehouse operations, network design and KPI performance
-Support and engage in supplier management of external service providers
-Support LCC tool, function and development
-Issuer of storage and warehouse handling guidelines
-Conduct process reviews and follow up on the agreed actions
Qualifications
We are looking for a person with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. A pro-active and customer focused mindset as well as strong analytical skills are also important requirements.
You have a University degree in Business Administration or Engineering combined with at least 8 years of operational experience from logistics and warehouse operations. You have project management skills and experience of successfully driving and executing change projects.
Good understanding and knowledge of different warehouse concepts, tools, systems and technologies will make you successful. It is an advantage if you have experience from different industries, logistic service providers and supply chain optimisation. A very good command of English, both written and oral is required.
