What we are looking for
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Warehouse Supervisor to Schneider Electric Distribution Centre in Örebro.
You will be responsible for management of operators or teams of operators, for employee performance, development, engagement and discipline. You will manage the team and develop team members’ competencies through training, coaching, communication and performance.
Responsibilities
• Manage the DC Operations balancing productivity (labor & transport) and ensure the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality, the Service level and the cost for all flows in DC for the local market and overseas market.
• Guarantee the respect of policies & implementation of the local rules
• Ensure the fulfillment of the DC objectives and priorities
• Manage the DC operations to achieve the KPI targets through action plans and regular reviews
• Manage efficiency of the whole animation system
• Be responsible to validate Warehouse capacity planning
• Enforce compliance with Healthy, Safety and Environment and 5S rules throughout the sector, including reporting and managing incidents and near misses.
• Enforce compliance with quality system and proper appliance of the defined processes and procedures to meet the required quality level
• Optimize daily / weekly balance workload / resources (internal, external storage and freight capacities)
• Ensure management of the logistics process receiving goods, stocking, picking, material handling, shipping finished goods and wastes
• Synchronize support function actors on short term actions
• Organize the training needs of teams and manage the versatility in accordance with the target defined
• Ensure inventories accuracy
• Manage the yearly appraisal of all people reporting to you
Required skills and experiences
• You have a University degree in Business administration, Economy, Finance, Supply chain or similar. You have good knowledge in English and is fluent in Swedish.
• We believe you have advanced management skills and are result oriented and strong in communication. You have 5-10 years of experience from a similar position.
• You are used to work in MS Office applications in general, SAP or similar ERP.
