We are currently looking for a Transport & Warehouse Manager to our customer Henkel Norden AB in Alvik. This is an interim position, a parental leave cover starting ASAP until the end of January 2021. Job Description: In the role as a Transport & Warehouse Manager you will be leading a team of one Transport Coordinator, as well as being responsible for all aspects of the collaborative relationship with external 3 rd party warehouse providers in Sweden and Finland. This role would suit a junior manager looking to broaden their experiences, take on more responsibility and show their initiative and potential. Other tasks and responsibilities include:
Monitor ECSL service and drive improvements where necessary.
Reduction of Logistics complaints from customers.
Ensure costs are maintained within budget.
Drive process efficiencies.
Coordination of volume fluctuations to ensure all customer demands are met on time and in full.
Responsible for inventory management activities including annual stock takes.
Management of two 3PL warehouses
Required Experience and Skills: Background within Supply Chain and/or Logistics
Previous managerial experience over a small team of people
Fluent in English
Swedish preferred and Finnish a bonus
Bachelor’s Degree within relevant field preferred
Previous experience working in SAP or other similar system a merit
Good knowledge in Outlook and MS Office
Personal Characteristics: Excellent communication skills
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships quickly
Ability to handle a lot of responsibilities on your own
Problem-solver
Ability to work independently and take own initiatives
