WCDMA 3G System Designer to Ericsson

Job description Are you ready to take your career to the heart of the Mobile Broadband race?We are looking for a WCDMA 3G system designer specializing in air interface algorithms to help us get the most out of the wireless uplink from users' cell phones and laptops to the base stations.You'll be responsible for specifying new, or improving existing signal processing algorithms through analytical studies and simulations. Based within the Product Development Unit WCDMA RAN, you'll develop and support a link-level simulator in C++ used by our software and ASIC teams, as well as being closely involved with verification.You will be working with people across various departments within product development and research, in a company that is passionate about what they do and that constantly strives to make a difference.Competence You have at least a Master of Science or equivalent experience from the workplace, with particular reference to physics, electrics or computers.You can be either newly-qualified or have previous experience - the role will be adapted to your profile.You should be fluent in written and spoken English, and be able to follow a technical discussion held in Swedish.You should also have: . General WCDMA system knowledge, particularly within L1/L2 . System modeling and identification .
