Battery housing mechanical design is looking for a new design engineer
The group consists of 12 experienced engineers, with a good team spirit and a “help each other” mentality. Our group is responsible for the frames and covers for the batteries and components connected to it. Our parts are sheet metal and casted aluminum.
The battery development is at the forefront of the exciting electrical component development used within the group. We are working in a scaled agile way according to the SAFe manifest. Currently three members are in one team and nine in another team. These teams have members from cross functional stakeholders.
Your tasks
You will work with designing parts with the customer in mind, creating documents for our supplier and much more, both alone and together with our experienced team. You will also be a part of our improvement work to find ways of better supplying the projects with what’s needed and to find better ways to create our systems.
Your profile
We expect that you have a university degree, either bachelor or master or have gathered similar experience. You have a solid experience in mechanical design, sheet metal and or casted parts. We expect you to have a good knowledge in CAD software, preferably Catia.
Since you will be a part of an agile team, previous knowledge in SAFe is beneficial but not mandatory.
You have:
• An analytical approach and you are able to think outside the box to find solutions.
• A strong sense of cooperation and a will to find solutions.
• A solid background in mechanical design
• A “can do” and supporting mentality
We offer
We offer a dynamic job with many different contact people and areas, great colleagues, a very interesting system to work with and good development possibilities. The work environment is diverse and inspiring.
