Arbetsbeskrivning
Hello you great engineer!
Regardless of where I am in the world, I can see a SCANIA truck and feel proud that my R&D team helps to enable cutting edge solutions. Both you and I want to make a lasting impact on the future and we will push ourselves to the limits of technical challenges and understanding to achieve that goal. I know my fantastic group can finish assignments and simultaneously develop themselves. When you submit an application for this group, you are introducing yourself to rewarding work, a joyful group and an exciting transition with an organization setting new standards for the future.
During my years at SCANIA, I have been able to contribute to my different groups’ success by constantly pushing the teams to conquer new technical challenges. The group I am currently leading and that you now have the opportunity to join, is comprised of 12 nationalities and each person has a unique story of how they ended up working at SCANIA. We collaborate through an agile and cross-functional setup including R&D, Production, Sales & Marketing and Purchasing departments to develop the Charging and power distribution on our BEV Trucks. In our two teams and within the agile landscape, we design both low- and high-voltage cable harnesses for all our trucks unique to BEV. We’re now looking for an experienced design engineer who can join the high-voltage Cable harness team.
Who we are looking for
Even if the team members do not have a formalized leadership role in the team, my main belief is that everyone should take a leadership role over their responsibilities in each project. We are all leaders and role models for each other.
Your main responsibilities:
• design of high voltage cable harnesses in 3D for electric trucks
• create 2D drawings and BOM for both suppliers and production
• work cross-functionally to develop the installation of cable harnesses in the truck chassis
• validate the installation through physical and digital test assemblies
• follow and develop new parts from concept creation to serial production quality
To succeed in this role, we believe that you:
• have the experience of working in product development, ideally also with cable harnesses
• have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within engineering
• believe in the agile culture, methods and processes
• have a professional level of English
I believe that your engineering background, together with your leadership skills, will contribute to the future SCANIA BEV trucks and help Driving the shift to a sustainable transport system.
So, are you a great engineer who is striving to develop yourself within an amazing company? Does this job sound amazing to you but you don't think you might meet all the requirements? We in the team value your personality as number one. We give you the base for success independent from your previous experiences. Just press the Apply button!
Thank you for your consideration, and I would appreciate to tell you more about this opportunity!
Best Regards,
Katarina Nordqvist
