We are currently looking for passionate experienced and result-oriented candidates for the role of a Digital Lead with a professional background and exemplary concepts to join our team.
We are looking for a new Digital Lead who will be in charge of ensuring the security of all processes and dependencies related to procurement IDO.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Digital Lead, you will lead, coordinate, develop, and manage process development related to procurement IDP, as well as all necessary alignment both within the company’s landscape with other departments and with parent landscapes.
To succeed in this role, you must understand not only procurement and quality processes, but also how process and digital interact throughout the OtD process.
You will be responsible for securing process activities within the company, interacting with internal Volvo Cars process networks as well as Global Geely networks, and acting as a company's representative and/or project manager in procurement-related projects as needed.
This position will allow you to be on the cutting edge of electric vehicle (EV) development while also driving supply chain sustainability.
Your primary responsibilities will be to:
Manage the overall process development work;
Anchor and coordinate between th organisation and Volvo Cars;
Support system changes from a Polestar perspective;
Manage the implementation/training of process improvements and new processes;
Set and monitor KPIs as needed; and ensure compliance with necessary legal certifications and regulations.
Participate actively in the procurement team, providing process and system knowledge as needed.
Examine and fully document the requirements for each function and solution, then develop "as is" processes.
We are confident that we can use current processes within Digital processes and align "to be" processes.
Produce and document a gap analysis of the business process versus the digital solution.
Create in/outflow flows from other department systems to procurement. comprehend data-set dependencies.
To support ISO certifications and standards, create step-by-step process flows with guidelines, instructions, templates, and documentation.
Creating buyer guides and user manuals.
Assist project managers with the timing and delivery of processes to gateways.
System ownership of the IDP.
Assist in the implementation of an ERP programme from the standpoint of an IDP.
Education, Expertise, and experience requirements:

The applicant must have proven experience as a Digital lead in procurement and quality, preferably in the automotive industry.
He/she should possess In-depth understanding and experience with the Purchase to Pay process - IDP
Solid understanding of the overall landscape, including product development, quality, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics, as well as key dependencies and integrations.
An academic background or equivalent experience in Engineering, Procurement, or a related field is required.
5 years of experience in the automotive industry or equivalent is required.
A minimum of 5 years' experience as a process manager or business analyst is also required.
A thorough understanding of the existing internal (Volvo Cars) system landscape within procurement is preferred.
Manage organisational interfaces, integrations, and dependencies both internally and externally.
Develops process flow diagrams and maps business processes to digital solutions.
Collaborate closely with buyers and provide assistance to project managers across all digital initiatives.
Other:
Knowledge of SAP tools and products, such as Ariba and S4Hana, is advantageous.
